What's done: Still working on the login. The stupid layout takes much longer than actual coding. I just need to test it out in a few devices. Although I should not need to because it's standard Bootstrap layout which have already been tested in thousands of devices around the world, but still, just for my peace of mind, so I can sleep at night, lol.
What I forgot / still left to do: Hopefully I can work on the registration part by Sunday. I don't want it to overlap with the data upload.
What's done: Started working on the login system. I decided to make email mandatory for registration. I have taken into consideration that some small time mechanics may not use emails so much, but I can't depend on the phone number alone because this group of people are also notorious for changing sim cards on the fly, without thinking much of the consequences. At least with the email, they have the option to change or update their phone number. Now another question is, should one or more members be allowed to share the same email? That could be too much of a security risk to allow that. After all, you can create email account for free in minutes. There are so many such services, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft etc.
What I forgot / still left to do: Registration part is due. Not to mention uploading more data. I don't think I can upload any data this week, I will try some on Monday, if I can. The reason being that I have some annoying people coming, and I can't really avoid them. Working with bulk data upload while in an irritated state is a recipe for disaster.
What's done: Completely forgot to link the dev. blog to the site. Will forget my head next. Anyway that bit is done. So much more to do.
What I forgot / still left to do: Still lots of work in the member section needs doing, as well as lots of data to upload, which one should I do first. Once is boring but necessary, the other, interesting coding and still necessary. Oh well, guess I will sleep on it tonight.
What's done: Working on the login system. I had some design dilemma as to how long should I allow an user to stay logged in, I mean there's convenience vs security issue. Finally decided to leave it to the default for now. If users are not happy, they I can always change the parameters.
What I forgot / still left to do: Need to complete to user login and member area asap. A lot of people will want to edit their data.
What's done: Cleaned up some data, the medical collages list still needs some work.
